ALDERBURY Under 16s' unbeaten run continued with a 3-3 draw against a determined Mere Town Youth.
After going into half time at 1-1 with a goal from Ryan Payne, second half goals from Charlie Turner and Ryan Sartain should have been enough for the victory.
However, they conceded two goals in the last few minutes.
And to add to the frustration, the Green Army had the ball in the net at the death, only for it to be ruled offside; the second of the game.
Despite the draw, Alderbury remain top of the Mid Wilts Youth & Minor Football League Green Division by four points.
Nearest-challengers Amesbury, however, have two games in hand.
