Tom Pottage scores two tries and four conversions in Salisbury RFC's away win
SALISBURY United boosted their bid for promotion with an impressive 28-7 victory over Lytchett Minster in Dorset and Wilts 1 South.
Fresh from booking their place in the league cup final, Green and Whites made a confident start in Dorset as a Tom Pottage try and conversion settled their nerves.
However, two missed penalties aside, Salisbury struggled to turn their chances into points and let Lytchett in for a score as the first half finished 7-7.
With the difficult wind favouring the away side, James Bagguley and James Kay went over before Pottage completed the scoring with his second try and fourth conversion.
