SALISBURY FC have lined up another high-profile pre-season fixture against Wiltshire side Swindon Town.

With an already jam-packed pre-season schedule, Swindon will travel to the Ray Mac on Monday, July 17 (7pm).

This will mean the Whites will play four games in the space of six days, starting with the visit of Oldham Athletic on July 12, Bristol Rovers on July 15, Swindon Town on July 17 and then away to Andover Town on July 18.

Swindon, who were relegated last season, will play next season in League Two, with their opening game away to Carlisle United on August 5.

New manager David Flitcroft has only just taken over at the County Ground, following the departure of Luke Williams at the end of last season, after 18 months at the club.

This is Flitcroft’s third managerial job, following spells with Barnsley and Bury and he will be looking to gain promotion with Swindon and get them back to League One where they spent five seasons.

Swindon also play Oldham, just four days after the Whites host the Greater Manchester club, as Oldham are using the University of Bath facilities for pre-season.

Following this fixture the Whites will play, Andover Town, on July 18 (7.45pm), Downton on July 25 (7.45pm), Weston Super Mare on July 29 (3pm) and Basingstoke Town on August 5 (3pm).
