NEW Laverstock & Ford manager Ady Burford has moved to bolster his squad with a host of new signings.
Along with his new player-coach, former Salisbury City defender Matt Davies, Burford has added three other players he knows well from his time in charge of Andover.
Adam Heath, a striker who was once on Salisbury’s books, comes from Cirencester Town. Lee Chudy, a midfielder from Gosport Borough, and full-back Craig Martin, have also signed.
Central midfielder Robbie Gallagher and centre-back Kyle Tryhorn make the short trip from Bemerton Heath Harlequins. Burford has also brought in centre-back Justin Hall and striker Ben White from the Eastleigh academy which he still runs.
“We are talking to three or four other players, including Chris Fower, a forward who was released by Oxford United and has spent some time at Salisbury,” said Burford.
“I want to have a competitive squad of about 21 players, and we have already signed on Matt Baker, Phil Morgan, Kieran Mulcahy, Tom Mundy, Sam Parker, Eddie Perrett and Elliott Wykes from last season.”
Gareth Horner and Dean Skelly have left for Amesbury Town in Wessex Division One.
