Silent tribute to City fan Les
A ONE minute silence in memory of Whites fan Les Sanger was immaculately observed before this evening's Wiltshire Premier Shield final between Salisbury City and Shrewton United.
Long-time City supporter Les died in hospital earlier this week after a short illness.
He started watching Salisbury in the late 1940s and had been an avid follower ever since and had helped out behind the scenes on matchdays.
A club spokesman said: "Les will be greatly missed by all connected with the club and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time."
