SOUTH Wilts Under 15s wrapped up the Wiltshire Youth Cricket League title after a double success over the bank holiday weekend.

Ben Huntley struck a 65 ball century as South Wilts posted 235-6 at Royal Wootton Bassett. He hit 16 fours and a six as the ball disappeared to all parts. The hosts, the only team to beat South Wilts this season, were bowled out for 56 in reply to concede a 179 run defeat. Freddie Phillips knocked over the top order with 3-16 as the second innings only lasted 23.5 overs.

A young Cannings/Potterne came to Lower Bemerton for a draw and got one on the Monday. Tom Swanton hit a maiden ton. His 102 retired, which included 21 boundaries, dominated the hosts' 249-7. Potterne batted out time at 121-4.

With Chippenham making their annual forfeiture of the fixture at South Wilts next week, the league title has been secured for the under 15s.

The under 11s had a hefty home win against Corsham. They posted 145-3 with Ben Howgrave-Graham hitting 51 retired and Freddie Higton 32 not out. Corsham were shot out for just 52 with Sam Bell (3) and Kit Blomfield (2) doing the majority of the damage.
