JAMES Wade top scored twice as South Wilts shared the spoils against Totton & Eling Tigers and the Hampshire Development team in the NatWest Under-16 Indoor League at the Ageas Bowl.
The influential teenage captain hit 35 in the 17-run win over Totton and followed it up with an unbeaten 27 as South Wilts made an unsuccessful bid to chase down the county side’s 140-3.
Younger brother Edward also made his mark, while Charlie Smith hit 40 runs on debut.
Ben Huntley caught the eye with his left-arm medium-pace bowling.
