TO complement the facilities being developed at Nomansland and Landford, the manger is on the hunt for new recruits.
Mike Ward is hoping to boost matters on the match, after receiving a grant from Nomansland Sports Association for a club-changing £400,000.
The Association will be building a new clubhouse and a skate park at Nomansland Recreation Ground, home to the football club, which is expected to be complete by the summer of 2015. It will also provide tennis courts and coaching and help New Forest School deliver its PE curriculum.
It’s been a difficult season so far for the club, continuing on Saturday after a heavy 1-8 defeat in the Charity A Cup at the hands of South Newton, in which they had a player sent off for the first time in three years.
In addition, stalwarts have called time on their playing careers, and Ward is seeking players to increase numbers.
If things go according to plan, they aim to have a Sunday side and second Saturday team next year.
Anyone interested in joining should contact Ward on 01794390554 or email mikejww@aol.com.
