STRUGGLERS Downton and Romsey Town will have to restart Saturday’s league meeting in April after the game was abandoned at Wick Lane on 65 minutes.
Paramedics were called to the ground to give treatment to Pedro Carvalho, who sustained an injury to his neck.
Carvahlo was hospitalised 40 minutes later, which was when then the referee decided to postpone the match.
Romsey were leading 1-0 at the time of postponement.
The two will reface each other on April 11 – a potential relegation scrap.
