Trio of wins for improving Robins
PERKY Downton FC celebrated a third successive win at Wick Lane on Tuesday night.
The Robins’ turn of form has seen them score nine goals in their last three matches, five of which have been netted by red-hot Declan McGregor.
The Irishman followed up Saturday’s brace at East Cowes Victoria, where the Robins won 5-0 on Saturday, with another two at home to Andover New Street. Tom Aldridge was also on target in the 3-1 victory.
Nine points from a potential nine moves Colin Hopkins’ team into 11th place in Wessex Division One.
