CARL Poore declared himself content after Verwood Town had wrapped up their Sydenhams Wessex Premier campaign with victory over Whitchurch.
A goal in each half from Jordan Fisk put the hosts 2-0 up and although Whitchurch pulled one back, Potters held on for a 2-1 win.
Poore, who had completed his first full season in charge at Potterne Park on Saturday, presided over a 15th-placed finish and a run to the last 64 of the FA Vase.
He said: "I think we've had a good season. The ambition was to stay up and we fulfilled that.
"It could have been better as we chucked away a lot of points from winning positions.
"But overall, we are happy and it has given us something to build on next season."
