JOINT managers will lead Laverstock and Ford's charge in Wessex Division One.

Robbie Lakeman has recruited Liam McConnell to co-manage Lavvy in the upcoming 2015/16 season.

McConnell was able to join Lakeman at the Dell after he announced The Wanderers would cease to exist after a successful four year spell.

Lakeman says it's a move that will benefit the club, long-term.

"I am over the moon that Liam is coming on board," he said.

"He will bring fresh ideas and good knowledge with him along with an infectious enthusiasm which will bring the best out of the players we have here already and others we are looking to bring in.

"Personally, having Liam in with me will give me a better chance of concentrating on the things I feel I am stronger at on the coaching of the team and looking at how we can get things right going into games on Saturdays.

"I'm really excited at the prospect of this season and having Liam at the club gives us a real chance of getting into a position in the league which everyone at the club knows we are capable of."
