SAM House single-handedly ended Laverstock and Ford's impressive run of four consecutive victories by taking his goal tally to 14.
The Sydenhams Wessex Division One top scorer struck four times to help Totton and Eling to a 5-1 victory, consigning Lavvy to their heaviest drubbing of the season.
With the pitch suffering from recent heavy weather, it was tough going for both sides but it didn't prevent Lavvy from finding the breakthrough on 18 minutes.
Russell Jones continued his rich vein of form by rounding the keeper.
Laverstock had nullified House's threat until the 29th minute when he converted from the spot following a mistimed challenge from Ollie Hoare.
The goal lifted the home side and it was House who fired again, peeling away from Paul Lucas to neatly head home before the interval.
Lavvy came out in the second half, knowing the game was in the balance, the visitors were dominating possession and went close on several occasions before the match was turned.
A long ball to relieve the pressure from the home back line found its way to Lee Newman-Judd in the Laverstock goal, his hesitancy allowed House to pounce and grab his side's third. The goal rattled Laverstock and Totton killed the game off with two more quick fire strikes from House and substitute Stewart McAlpine.
Management duo Robbie Lakeman and Liam McConnell said they were left "furious" by the outcome.
