AMESBURY Town started life in Sydenhams Wessex Premier under new boss Jim Macey with 3-0 win at Whitchurch last night.
The goals came in what was a fine first half performance from the Blues.
Luke Walker fired a double before new signing Ben Cook got in on the act to make it a perfect opening for Macey, who has succeeded Gareth Horner in the hot-seat. The result takes them to the top of the table.
In Division One, Rae Hughes started his rein as Downton manager with a 2-2 stalemate against Christchurch.
On target for the Robins were Harry Crisp and Jamie Waters while netting Christchurch's goals were Luke Stone and Aaron Atkinson.
