DOWNTON cruised into the quarter-finals of the Wiltshire Senior Cup.
Goals from Declan McGregor, Ben Smith and Jamie Waters wrapped up a 3-1 victory over Devizes Town on Tuesday night.
They are joined in the last eight by Amesbury Town.
Jim Macey's charges ran out 3-0 victors over Ludgershall Sports thanks to goals from Curtis Angell, Paul Coventry and Joshua Stockwell.
The other two second round games have yet to be played.
Sydenhams Wessex Division One leaders Laverstock and Ford's home tie with Melksham was postponed due to the visitors' involvement in the FA Vase.
The game has been rearranged for Tuesday, November 29.
And Salisbury's hotly-anticipated derby with Bemerton Heath Harlequins will now take place on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
Like Melksham, Bemerton were involved in a FA Vase midweek replay, which they won and will lock horns with each other in the last 64 of the competition.
