Salisbury & District League roundup - March 31/April 1

BOSCOMBE Down Rec Club took less than 60 seconds to take the lead against Value Cars in Division Two on Saturday.

Robbie Homebury broke down the left wing and played a clever one-two with Tom Brown before calmly slotting the ball home. Value Cars equalised midway through the half to make it 1-1 at the break.

James Bicker restored Boscombe's lead soon after the interval with a bullet head from a Homebury corner. Chris Young then bagged his 21st goal of the season, and shortly after man-of-the-match Homebury claimed his second of the match.

With time running out, James Dickie sent Brown in on goal and his fierce strike with the outside of his left foot rounded off the scoring.
