Weekend football round-up
SALISBURY City finished their debut Blue Square Premier campaign in 12th place after beating York City 3-0 at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium courtesy of goals by Tim Bond, Matt Tubbs and Liam Feeney.
A crowd of 1,400 saw the game.
In the Premier Division of the Sydenhams Wessex League there was no last day joy for the area's sides.
Bemerton Heath Harlequins went down 2-1 at home to Cowes Sports, while bottom-of-the-table Downton lost 3-1 at Brockenhurst.
Ringwood Town, who close the campaign just one place above the Robins, lost 3-0 at Hayling United.
Meanwhile in Division One, Laverstock & Ford made sure of the runners-up slot by beating Stockbridge - Gino Nardiello's side enjoying a 3-0 success.
Amesbury Town picked up a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Verwood Town.
Shrewton United, who had already completed their Toolstation Western League Division One fixtures, finish fourth in the table.
The Shrews visit the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Monday evening to face Salisbury City in the final of the Salisbury Hospital Cup.
