SWIMMING double act Phil Muspratt and James Stocks-Reid faced Olympic competition at the Portsmouth Northsea Christmas Cracker Level 1 Open Meet.
The Salisbury Stingrays’ duo took to the Mountbatten Centre, with Team GB Olympian Marco Loughran, at the two-day event.
Muspratt clocked up impressive gold and silver medals. The number one spot landed in the 50m freestyle, he just missed out on gold in the 100m freestyle.
Stocks-Reid also made progress from his last long course outing in Bristol, where he competed in four events. He set encouraging times, many close to personal bests.
He came seventh in the 50m butterfly, 100m and 200m freestyle and recorded sixth spot in the age 17 and over 50m freestyle.
