SALISBURY Masters swimmers are currently making their mark at the World Masters Swimming Championships.
Chris Jessup, Rob Langan and Phil Muspratt are all representing Salisbury Stingrays in the event at Montreal, Canada.
The five days of competition is one of the highlights of the international calendar, attracting thousands of swimmers from all over the world.
Jessup will be competing at his seventh World Championships, swimming in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke, as well as 100m and 200m butterfly.
For Langan and Muspratt this will be their second time at the event, the latter has also competed in two European Championships and one World Masters Games.
British number one Muspratt said: “Swimming in Canada is throwing some real tough challenges, but ones I’m really looking forward too.”
“I really hope I can swim well and maybe come home with a medal, naturally going there to win, but the calibre of opposition is very high.”
