Emily Benham
SARUM Orienteering Club former member Emily Benham won two medals at the Mountain Bike Orienteering World Championships in Poland.
The Morgan’s Vale athlete, who is now based in Norway, scooped silver at the middle distance and bronze in the sprint.
Benham, Wiltshire’s sports personality of 2013, has won the World Cup overall this season with a lead of 15 points, by far the best result ever by a British rider.
She has also been appointed member of the IOF MTB Orienteering Athletes’ Commission.For more information, visit www.orienteering.org.
