SALISBURY Men’s hockey fourths are toasted a 5-1 thrashing over West Wilts in a pre-season at Lower Bemerton.
Fred Bond and seasoned campaigner Jim Nicholson put Salisbury two nil up before the visitors halved the deficit going into the interval.
A resolute second period saw Salisbury gain the upper hand, as Nicholson and Bond completed braces, and captain David Hillier got the fifth.
