SALISBURY'S Futsal squad will travel to the Olympic park this weekend for the FA Futsal Cup finals.

FC Salisbury UTD's young squad have already been buoyed by the recent acceptance into the National Futsal League and at the Copper Box Arena they will be taking on some of the top teams in the country.

United’s cup journey started nine months ago in the first round of the cup, seventeen games later the side are now potentially four games from lifting the trophy.

Manager Justin Prentice told JournalSport: "The squad have been putting in a lot of work in preparation for our upcoming games, I am continually impressed with the way this young group apply themselves.

"We are under no illusions that we face some excellent opponents some of which are full time professionals, but that said we will continue to play the free flowing football my coaches have readily encouraged."

With entry confirmed into the National Futsal League the club are looking for several additional players to bolster the squad and sponsors to help provide equipment, if interested details can be obtained by contacting head coach Geoff Bonner via email at geoffrey.bonner@btinternet.com
