A BUMPER turnout of Salisbury Tri Club athletes took on the Andover Triathlon.
Fourteen members from the city club attempted a 440m swim, 30k bide ride and 8k run.
There was second in category for Adam Herridge and Hannah Yates, third in category for Andy Holme and Katie Clements.
Also racing in the sprint distance triathlon were Julian Himmerich, Andrew Holme, Mike Boardman, Chris Pascoe, Jen Witt, Dave West, Andrew Fallon, Sue Dowding, Tony Kesterton and John Dowding.
Further afield, Ruth Thom, who was representing Great Britain, flew to Switzerland for the 2015 Geneva ETU Triathlon European Championships.
She finished 11th in category with a time of 2:29:39 after completing a standard distance triathlon – swim 1500m, bike ride 40.8k and 10k run.
Debbie Atkinson also raced in Geneva at the weekend. Using the same course as the European Championships, the race was a sprint distance triathlon, testing competitors over 750m swim, 20.4k cycle ride and 5k run.
