A RIDING centre remembered those close to their hearts at their annual memorial show.

Horses, ponies and friends, who were attached to Grovely Riding School, were thought of at the fun-filled day.

Organiser Gemma Mankin arranged a fancy dress competition, star of the future award, helper of the year, tom's award, young show jumper and more.

The activities at the show, in its tenth year, raised £575 for Salisbury Hospice.

Penny King, from the school, said: "The show has been held for over ten years, contributing to many worthy charities. Every class is always exiting as riders compete for the top rosettes and trophies, all the riders support and encourage each other, which adds to the atmosphere of the day."
