SALISBURY Tri Club newcomer Julia West completed her first triathlon.
West was a recruit from the club’s Intro to Tri course and juggled three sports in Newbury with a time of 1hour 40minutes.
Shaun Benfield raced Portsmouth Sprint Tri and came third in age group, and 19th overall, with a time of 1.19.
Benfield’s son, Joe, finished in 1.31 after a 750m sea swim, 20k cycle and 5k run.
Hannah Yates rounded off a fantastic first season and smashed her previous time with a result of 1.11, finishing third in category.
Rob Lush did the City to Sea Ultra Marathon, 53.8 miles, in 12.49, finishing 18th.
n A QUARTET of Salisbury running club veterans tested their racing legs at the Stockbridge 10k, where little separated them at the finish.
Fastest of the group was Judy Flint with a time of 56.11, and she was followed by Tracy Badham (56.21) and Kathryn Dreyer (59.26).
