SALISBURY Tri Club's Sam Cain completed the Eton Man Middle Distance Triathlon – her first – in a respectable time of six hours and 46 minutes, finishing as first female veteran (40).
Intro to Tri Club's Emma Raffray completed her first event, the Blandford Triathlon. Clocking a time of 1:59, she was second in category of the sprint distance race, her first triathlon since completing the Intro to Tri course.
Irfon Thomas, also from the club's introduction course, celebrated his birthday by racing in the duathlon in the Wye Valley.
Tony Kesterton raced flying the flag for Team GB on Thursday, recording 30th in age group in the sprint ITU age grouper world championships in Chicago.
