A BUILDING company has struck a sponsorship deal with Fordingbridge RFC.
Elliotts, a long established firm that supplies building products, has provided the Snows Hampshire One outfit with new kits.
Over the years, Elliotts, which boasts 13 branches across the south including its Fordingbridge base, has backed the town's rugby club with funds and scrummage machinery.
Managing director Tom Elliott, who played for the club in his teens, said: “Our staff, particularly those at our Fordingbridge branch, are big supporters of Fordingbridge Rugby Club. It was our honour to be able to help fund the new kits and we are wishing the team the best of luck this season.”
Ian Brown, chairman at Fordingbridge RFC, said: “We are incredibly grateful for Elliotts’ generous support over the years. Having the backing of corporate partners takes a huge weight off our shoulders and means we can focus on the game, rather than raising funds for kit and equipment.”
