ELLINGHAM and Ringwood's newly-promoted women trounced Somerset outfit North Petherton 73-0 at the Raymond Brown Memorial Ground.

That win was their third on the trot which has sent them to the top of the National Challenge Division 1 South West.

Centre Kourtney Driscoll, wing three quarter Nina Hoadley, fly half Cherelle Jameson, scrum half Lucy Juffkins and number 8 Paige Darvill-White all scored braces.

The others came from full back Chloe Barrett, hooker Karen Castle, and wing three quarter Emily Swales.

Gilly Thomas added two conversions, with the others coming from Chloe Barrett and Sam Nichols.

nThe men's first team look to move off the foot of Snows Hampshire One when they host undefeated leaders Fordingbridge, who have a 100 per cent winning record, on Saturday in what promises to be a full-blooded derby (2pm).
