MINI racing brothers won their class in the Spa 24-hour race.
Salisbury’s Neil and Ian Slark were racing their two Minis, (Team Lyeford) with Mark Burnett from Salisbury’s Burlen Services and three additional drivers and (Toyshed) Andy Slade, with three from the Plymouth area.
All minis finished the race and it is believed to be the first time in one 24-hour race at Spa.
The Minis were invited to enter with the Citroen 2CV championship and a grid of more than 60 entrants with varying classes involved.
They have been invited back next year and there is likely to be further 24 hour races at Zandvoort and again at Anglesea.
