SALISBURY'S Simon Woodhouse was crowned champion of the badminton court at the English National Masters Championships 2015.
He powered his way to a maiden Masters Nationals title in the over 35 men’s singles category at the Hertfordshire tournament.
Paving his way to silverware, Woodhouse won all four matches in straight sets, knocking out the first and second seeds - Rohan Kapoor and Mark Trebble.
More than 450 matches were played across the championships, with more than 200 players split across eight different age groups.
