RUNNERS are being urged to sign up to the second Race for Men.

Last year's inaugural event at Hudson's Field attracted more than 200 men who showed their support against prostate cancer.

Racers had a choice of running in either the 10k or 3k, and the same categories apply this time round.

People's efforts raised in excess of £15,000 for the Stars Appeal's Prostate Cancer Fund.

Organisers David Ferris and brothers Steve and Toby Giles, from Body Lounge Foundation, are hosting the event on Sunday, June 12 (11am).

They said: "We had a fantastic first race in 2015.

"Please make a date in your diary and if you know of others, perhaps even wives and girlfriends who could help with safety marshalling, early morning admin, etc we would love to hear from you."

The event is open to both runners and walkers.
