A SUN-SOAKED Churchill Gardens attracted 364 runners at parkrun.
That total is a new record for the Salisbury event, which celebrates its first year anniversary on June 4 with the visit of sports broadcaster Vassos Alexander.
Event director Elizabeth Roberts said: “We hope to encourage those who have not yet attended the parkrun to join us on the remaining Saturdays in May for Walk2Run. This is aimed at those new to fitness and walkers – all abilities are welcome at all times at parkrun.
"As well as fitness and running, parkrun is also about the social and community side of things, getting some fresh air and meeting new people."
Saturday's event will mark a change to the route for the summer, runners will complete three laps instead of four.
