A LANDFORD rider returned from a famous event with a trophy.
Kirsty Johnston was rewarded for being the highest-placed British First Timer at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials with the Laurence Rook Trophy.
The 26-year-old scooped the prize on Opposition Detective.
Kirsty, who rides at Landford Common Stud, is now preparing for more rides.
Riding runs in the Johnstone household as Kirsty's father, John, was also a Badminton competitor in 1984, and bred Opposition Detective.
