CITY of Salisbury’s Stuart Holloway rediscovered his speed at the Hampshire League’s Netley 10k, notching second place.

On the sunny three lap course alongside Southampton Water, he crossed the line less than a minute down on Denmead’s Julian Manning, with a time of 34min 13sec.

No fewer than eleven City of Salisbury athletes from senior level to under-13s secured gold medal titles in the Wiltshire track and field championships at Swindon.

In a brilliant family double, Josh Hole took the honours at both the under-17s 400m and the shot, and his sister Molly also racked up a fine double success by winning the under-15s shot and the javelin.

Beatrice Wood showed great tactical sense in the under-13s 1500m and her win put her into the UK’s age group top ten at the distance.

Skye Allen won the under-17s 100m championship, Rose Warren the under-13s 800m and Martha Royle the under-13s shot.

Greg Herring took the 800m title among the under-15s, Jaymee Domoney the senior 1500m, Andrew Holme the senior 3,000m, Jack Paget the senior discus and the shot and Jack Kelly the under-15s shot.
