SALISBURY racing driver Tony Bennett is back on track after recovering from a crash at Lydden Hill.
While in poll position, a mechanical failure caused Bennett's Caterham R300 to turn directly into a barrier, which wrecked the car, pictured above, and saw his racing season come to an early finish.
However, the car has been rebuilt over the winter and is now back being raced.
So far this season, Bennett has competed at Snetterton and Cadwell Park where he finished on the podium both times.
On Sunday, at Mallory Park in the Midlands, he claimed his first overall race win of 2016 in the Sevenesque Series run by the BARC (South East Division).
