OTTILIE Knight was City of Salisbury’s sole representative in the England Athletics national age group championships at Bedford.
Up against the best under 17 javelin throwers in the country, including Bethan Rees of Cannock and Stafford AC whose huge throw of 45.09m won her the title, Ottilie achieved an excellent distance of 39.91m.
Not only did that place her in the top six but also gave her a new personal best, closing her track and field season on a buoyant note.
