MERE continue to front up the Westbrook Mixed Triples Bowls League.
They lead the way but are keeping a watchful eye on Sixpenny Handley who, with two games left can steal the title if they claim a total of 26 points.
Amesbury are in third place while Downton sit in fourth.
In the men's leagues, Downton's men had an excellent season, winning Division 6 of the Bournemouth League and runners-up in New Forest Division 2. This means promotion to Divisions 5 and 1, respectively.
In the Wiltshire Men's 4 Rink League, Amesbury finished top in their section and beat Spencer Moulton in the quarter-final play-off. They now play Royal Wootton Bassett in the semi-final. Salisbury who were runners up lost to Holt in the quarter-final.
