Steven Ricketts after completing a mammoth ironman
STEVEN Ricketts took on the Ironman Barcelona at the weekend.
The 3.8k Mediterranean sea swim was based from the village of Callela, the 112 mile bike course went through the Maresme region and the marathon run, to finish, was three laps along the seafront.
The Salisbury Tri Club athlete stopped the clock on 14 hours and six minutes.
Closer to home, Samantha Cain took part in the Bowood House Sprint Duathlon, finishing the 5k run, 21k bike, 5k run in 1:45.
