ANOTHER record has been posted at Salisbury's ever-growing parkrun.
A total of 544 runners - three more than the previous weekend - took part in the free-to-enter 5k race round Churchill Gardens.
Fastest on Saturday morning was City of Salisbury’s Lee Syrett in the 30-34 age group, who set a new best mark of 17min 59sec, the first time he has dipped inside 18minutes after more than 70 attempts.
Quickest time among the women was Gina Suddaby, unattached to a club, and in the same age group who clocked 21.46.
This was the 87th parkrun in Salisbury which has attracted a total of more than 4,200 runners and walkers since it launched 18 months ago.
