DARTS players from the Salisbury and District darts league raised £6,800 for the charity Wiltshire Sight.

The players from around the Salisbury district collected loose change from pubs and clubs after their weekly matches throughout the winter season.

During the Martin Inder Trophy competition, which was formed in 2014 in memory of Martin who died in 2013, £900 was raised and was handed to The Rose Gale Trust on the presentation evening.

The event took place on Saturday, April 15 at the Salisbury Snooker Club.

There was a main singles tournament and a blind pairs competition. Chairman Luke Yates defeated Trevor Brain in the singles final and Mark Hayward and Helen Moule won the blind doubles event.
