DURRINGTON rider Daryl Bolter, left, showed his versatility last weekend, when he won the Sprint Enduro at Cwmythig Hill in Rhayder, Mid-Wales.
The Putoline Oils-sponsored event took place over a four-mile course and, after Bolter’s KTM UK teammate Greg Evans set the fastest time in qualifying, the event seemed set to be a race between Evans and Bolter.
In dry conditions, the racing was very close between the two KTM UK team mates but, when Evans dropped his bike he lost valuable seconds.
At the end of the day’s racing Bolter was the winner by 46 seconds from Evans.
Phil McLaughlin was third, Edward Jones fourth and Matt Ridgway, in fifth, was the highest placed expert.
Speaking after the race, Daryl said: “I really enjoyed this event.
“It was different to a normal Enduro but was good for the spectators as they could see most of the action.”
