Play-off heartbreak for Salisbury
SALISBURY Rugby Club's hopes of securing promotion to South West Division One via the play-offs were dashed when they lost 17-6 to SW2 (West) runners-up Barnstaple.
The Castle Road club had previously strung an impressive 16 wins together on the bounce to finish second to champions Chippenham and make the end of term play-offs.
