RELEGATION fears are starting to creep in across Salisbury’s Rugby camp as they still remain winless in South West 1 (East) after losing ten games on the bounce.

Salisbury, who desperately need to start clocking up some crucial wins as the season approaches midway, encountered a demoralising 45-17 defeat at Buckingham on Saturday.

Injuries continue to hamper new head coach Neil Loader, who, after welcoming back the injured Josh Green, lost Andy Herriott on Thursday night.

Rory Davis and Gordon Grant were also unavailable and so, once again, players had to be plucked from the second XV.

Salisbury scored tries through Hamish Morton, Phil Carr and Richard West, with Roland Barter converting the last score.

But, sadly for the Castle Road outfit, Buckingham were able to score with a degree more frequency and wrap up the high-score win.

FORMER Salisbury RFC player Mike Brown won his 20th England cap in Saturday's 31-12 win over Argentina at Twickenham.

World champions New Zealand are the visitors this Saturday (2.30pm).
