A FLAGSHIP event in Salisbury RFC's calendar saw hundreds of talented youngsters descend on Castle Road for the mini festival.
Some 1,000 children, all aged from six to 12 years old, from Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire took to the field for the popular event on Sunday.
Each age group ran two separate pools, allowing all children, influenced by the Rugby World Cup, to take part in some challenging, quality rugby.
Salisbury's mini section enjoyed much success across the age groups, including the under-9s who won both their pools in what was a clean sweep.
Coach Ed Paden described the tournament as "a fantastic day all round".
"Thanks to all those who came and supported as well as all those firms that kindly sponsored the festival," he said.
