NEIL Loader returned to Salisbury RFC for his second spell in charge on Saturday as the club began pre-season preparations.
The reappointed head coach, who has succeeded double promotion winner Dan Jeffries, was joined by 40 players at Castle Road.
Salisbury's director of rugby Stewart Roderick put the backs through
their paces while Ian Smith, community rugby development officer with
Somerset RFU, was on hand to take the forwards through a variety of strength
and conditioning drills.
Loader says he's relishing the prospect of a new challenge with Green and Whites.
"I've been getting really excited about it, and having so many players here working hard is a great way to start," he said.
There will now be regular training sessions at the club twice a week at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings. The women's team will train on Tuesdays at 6.30pm and midday on Sundays.
All are welcome.
