RUGBY players paid tribute to a former Salisbury RFC junior at an annual charity match.
Some 40 players formed two teams in the eighth Rory Walworth Memorial Match on Boxing Day to remember the Bishop Wordsworth's pupil who died in 2009 during a cycling accident.
The Tanks, captained by Nico Flanaghan whose cousin Rory played in the front row, clinched the trophy after beating Rozzas 29-19 at Castle Road.
It was an entertaining game refereed by Adam Wookey.
A collection was held after the game and £700 was raised, which will go towards the club's junior section.
