A FOOTBALL festival at Avon Valley College for budding youngsters proved a big hit.
More than 290 footballers from south Wiltshire battled in the 2015 Durrington FC Trophy event on Sunday.
Twenty-nine teams played across three groups - under- 10s, 9s and 8s - with each age group having a tournament cup up for grabs and every player was awarded with a medal.
Alderbury Ninjas, pictured, won the under-10s category, Amesbury Tigers clinched the under-9s and Salisbury Whites were crowned champions of the under-8s.
The prizes were presented by councillor for Durrington and Larkhill division, Graham Wright, and Tim Webber, Principle of Avon Valley College.
