A FORDINGBRIDGE footballer had a day to savour when he met his all-time Chelsea FC hero.
Tom Sweeney shook hands and posed for a picture with Diego Costa after spending a day with the club's junior members at Stamford Bridge.
The Fordingbridge Turks Under-12s player and Chelsea striker, both top-scorers for their teams, crossed paths in the car park following a packed day of activities on Tuesday.
Brother Anthony along with friends Alfie Beckwith and Simon Windsor also had their picture taken with the Spanish star.
It was a fitting end to the season for Tom who had seen his side lift the Premier League after their 3-1 win over Sunderland, in which Costa scored his 20th league goal.
