A RINGWOOD schoolgirl posted an impressive result at the Summer Long Course Nationals in Sheffield.
Year 10 student Morgan Long made a splash with her teammates for Swim Bournemouth last month.
En-route to the team finishing 15th in the country, Morgan recalled a personal best time of 2mins and 17secs in the 200 metres.
The teenager, who trains seven times a week, is working towards six competitions in the next four months, one of which includes the Short Course Nationals in Sheffield.
Her other major competition will see her heading to Millfield in November for the Short Course Regionals.
A spokesman from the school said: "Morgan is a swimming star in the making." "Ringwood School is so proud of her and is looking forward to seeing her fly to ever greater heights. Congratulations Morgan!"
