ALDERBURY Warriors Under-13s celebrated playing in their new kit in perfect style, securing their first win in over a year.
Man of the match Ben Thomson opened the scoring for the home side before Andy Cutler scored twice in a 3-2 win over Fordingbridge Turks in their Testway Youth Division 2 encounter.
There was an emphatic 5-1 win for Alderbury Under-15s against AFC Corsham in their Mid Wilts League game.
A brace from Harry Schneider and a hat-trick from Ben Davidson, on his home debut, coupled with a solid performance in midfield from Harry Iles secured the well-earned victory.
Elsewhere, South Wilts Soccer School Under-14s bounced back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Purbeck away 4-3. Adam Castle struck twice to put them on level terms before Savage netted the winner.
The under-14s Sunday team got their campaign off to a flyer against Wyvern Dragons, thumping them 11-1. Alex Wilkins’ opener was cancelled out early on and a close clash looked on the cards.
But a rampant South Wilts took sheer control as Joe Whale and Adam Castle put them 3-1 ahead in the first half.
In a dominant second half, Arnold, netted four goals and Wilkins, Whale, Woodroofe and Smith all got in on the demolition.
nCoach Rob Wilkins’ son, Dan, has been selected to play for Wiltshire Under-18s. He will travel to Norfolk on Saturday.
